Ian Bamford - Musician & Composer
I am a songwriter, composer and musician based in Manchester, England.
For over 25 years I have played in bands as a singer, guitarist, drummer and percussionist, playing venues all over the U.K. and abroad. In 2005 I formed the band Moore Marriott with Adam Speakman and self released the album ‘Back Up & Bounce’.
I am a graduate of Manchester Midi School, where I achieved a Diploma in Music Construction, Production & Commercial Engineering . My music has been used in film, television & the commercial sector. Clients have included the BBC, Pure Play Music and Mood Media. Most recently I was commissioned by The Academy of Live & Recorded Arts (North) to write music for the films ‘Burner’ & ‘Bedlam’. I am happy writing in a variety of styles, with tracks ranging from orchestral influenced pieces to contemporary acoustic folk/ pop.
