Tesni Jones

Singer/Songwriter Tesni Jones started her career at the tender age of 14 were she recorded her first album. From the age of 17 Tesni became part of 3 piece girl group "Pheena" were she enjoyed 3 successful years including 2 top 10 welsh hits and a UK tour with boy-band Blue and several welsh television appearances. 2005 saw Tesni perform as a support act for the legendary Tom Jones for a special birthday celebration concert in Pontypridd. By 2007 Tesni became part of a 6 piece boy/girl group XYP supported by successful songwriter/producer Eliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow. Based out in Holland for 2 years the band enjoyed 5 top 10 singles and top 20 album including debut single "Body to Body" reaching number one in the Dutch pop charts. More recently, Tesni was a backing vocalist for the Peter Kay aka Geraldine McQueen Christmas single and performed along side Bryan Adams and Peter Kay at Sheffield city hall. Tesni is the singer in the ten and eight piece bands.

Samuel Ferns is a vibrant musician, with more than ten years experience as a front man and guitarist. Growing up in Basel Switzerland, Sam can speak, and sing in three languages! Sam moved to Manchester five years ago and has recently graduated with a first in a music degree at Salford University. Sam is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the ten piece, six piece and four piece bands.

Calum Gordon

Calum Gordon is a talented young pianist and singer, who has been playing for more than twelve years. Starting in home town of Paisley, Scotland at the age of ten, Calum has played piano in large ensembles for musicals and stage shows as well as in rock and pop groups from very early on. His musical journey brought him to Manchester at eighteen, where he gained a music degree at Salford. Calum is the keyboard player for the ten and six piece band, as well as the second vocalist in the indie four piece band.

Sam Lewis

Saxophones

Sam is an accomplished woodwind specialist playing all saxes, flute and clarinet. Also a skilled arranger and horn section leader, Sam has been at the helm of many varied musical projects from brass bands to jazz ensembles with ska/reggae bands and many function bands in between. Sam started playing weddings and working as a performer and sound engineer at the age of 16 with a successful 16 piece funk orchestra, including gigs around the country and at the Royal Albert Hall. Also, locally to Manchester Sam provides music with his duet in restaurants and bars. Sam is the horn section leader in the ten piece, eight piece and six piece groups as well as many of the jazz ensembles and duos.

Josh Zahler

Drums

Josh has been playing drums and all manner of percussion instruments for more than ten years. Haling from the town of Bentham Josh had a very musical upbringing playing in bands as young as ten. Josh achieved grade 8 drums at seventeen before moving to Manchester in 2006 to start a music degree. Having completed his music degree Josh has been looking for the next musical challenge and has found it with The Good Vibes Collective. Josh is a tight drummer specialising in live drum n bass and funk grooves as well as being an expert in cajon, an African drum box, as well as a wide range of other percussion instruments. Josh is the main drummer for the ten piece and eight piece bands as well as the larger jazz ensembles

Huw Wilcox

Huw Wilcox is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Hertfordshire. Over the last ten years Huw has been gigging and recording with various bands up and down the country. Huw formed "The Huw Wilcox Band" in 2006 in Manchester. The band released there first album, "Give Me Your Love" in 2008, which is still available for download from the iTunes store. Huw is also an accomplished guitarist and saxophonist. Huw's multi-instrumental talents means he plays with the six piece and five piece good vibes ensembles as well as being available within a duo.

Alex Pearson

Bass

Alex is the busiest bassist in the North West. Having recently finished a music degree at Salford University, Alex has been the regular bass in player in more bands than could be listed here. From pop to funk, from soul music to full orchestras Alex has done it all. Alex is the bassist for the ten piece and eight piece bands as well as the larger jazz ensembles.

Phil Ratcliffe

In 2008, Phil released his debut solo guitar album "Big in Eccles". Phil performs regularly in a variety of different musical acts as diverse as a ten piece reggae band to an easy listening pop duo. Phil blends his extensive blues background and his knowledge of jazz to create his own very unique style on guitar. Phil is the guitarist for the ten piece, eight piece, six piece group and four piece group as well as performing in some of the duos.

Dan Jones

Vocals

Dudley born singer Dan Jones moved to Manchester in 2006 knowing his career lay in music. Dan sings in a huge range of projects from a 13 piece a capella choir, to fronting his own band. He also sings backing vocals for a 46 piece Brazilian outfit. As well as all this Dan finds the time to front several function bands and does regular session work. Dan sings in the five piece group as well as some of the jazz ensembles and duos.

Martin Connor

Martin Connor

Vocals

Martin Connor is a Salford born singer with over fifteen years of experience. His talents now have led him to be the singer in function bands all over the country. Martin regularly sings at Old Trafford in one of his many bands and still finds the time to sing in many original outfits from reggae to soul. Martin sings in the larger jazz ensembles as well as several duos.

Rachel Lasham

Rachel Lasham

Percussion

Rachel Lasham is a young, talented percussionist originally from Manchester. Rachel leads and organises her own fifteen piece Brazilian samba band who have performed at a number of corporate events. Rachel also travels around the country teaching African and Cuban rhythms to schools and office workers alike. Rachel is the percussionist in the ten piece band as well as anywhere else it is required.
